Conquering Distances

Transportation is a movement of people and goods from 1 place to another. A new way was introduced in ancient times which is to lay the burden of transportation on animals. They were superior to humans and capable of carrying greater load.

Then we invented the wheel. This led to the development of new means of transport. The next invention was the steam engine. It was used to run railway trains. Land, water, and air are the means of transport. Land transport can be classified into roadways and railways.
